Big Sur photos will come as soon as I get a computer to use.

I was trying to get on the 101 today but the on ramp was closed. I looked at a map and it was either

A. 30+ mile detour

B. ride on the off ramp, pull a u-turn and then ride on 3+ miles with no shoulder (construction work).

I was ready to roll the dice with option B until I saw a construction worker and presented me with option C: all south bound bicycles are allowed to ride on the northbound shoulder..... I laughed at first, but he wasn't joking. It was far scarier than this photo

So if you saw some lunatic on the Los Angeles news riding the wrong way down the 101 today, it was me.
